Brigid's day Stencil and Brídóg Workshop

The first in a series of creative and artistic workshops that will run on the last Tuesday of the month in 2025

• Morning: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM
• Evening: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  Cost: €35 per person (2 hours)

Celebrate Brigid's Day with creativity, tradition, and fun!

Join me at the Magpie Collective for a hands-on, two-hour workshop where you'll:

• Design, draw, and cut your very own Brigid's Cross stencil.
• Use a variety of printing, colouring, and illustrating techniques to create a unique art piece on high-quality paper.
• Learn to make Brídóg dolls, the traditional rush dolls representing St. Brigid.

As we create, we will enjoy tea and biscuits and share the fascinating stories and legends surrounding St. Brigid.

Details:

• Materials provided: Everything you need for stencilling, printing, and Brídóg-making.
• Small group size: Limited to 6 participants for an intimate and engaging experience.
• Workshops will proceed with 3 or more participants. If fewer than 3 people sign up by 24 hours before the session, the workshop will be canceled, and you'll receive a full refund.
• Teenagers welcome! Teens can join with a parent/guardian so you can enjoy the experience together.
